폴리 프로필렌은 프로필렌의 첨가 중합에 의해 형성된 중합체이다. 투명하고 가벼운 외관이있는 흰색 왁스 재료입니다. 화학적 공식은 (C3H6) N이고, 밀도는 0.89 ～ 0.91g/cm3, 가연성, 용융점 189 ℃, 약 155 ℃에서 연화되고, 사용 온도 범위는 -30 ～ 140 ℃이다.
산, 알칼리, 염 용액 및 80 ℃ 미만의 다양한 유기 용매의 부식에 저항 할 수 있으며, 고온 및 산화 하에서 분해 될 수있다. 폴리 프로필렌은 의류, 담요 및 기타 섬유 제품, 의료 기기, 자동차, 자전거, 부품, 전송 파이프 라인, 화학 용기 등의 생산에 널리 사용됩니다.
